It can take up to 5 days to approve your VSS registration. Once you have submitted your registration our Central Approval Department must complete a TIN Match to match the information you have provided us with what is on file with the IRS.  Once the TIN Match has been successfully processed, you will receive an email notification. If it has been longer than 5 business days, you will want to contact us with the following information:


Legal Business Name:

Federal Tax ID:

Vendor/Customer Number:

Date Registration Submitted:


If you recently received an email notification alerting you that your VSS registration has not been approved, you will want to refer back to the email notification you have received from our State Central Approval department where you can find the reason for your registration not being approved and the suggested resolution. Please refer to the “The following comments from the approving party were included detailing additional information about your account” section of the email for the recommended resolution.


Registering on ColoradoVSS does not add you to a vendor "list".  Having a VSS account allows you to add commodity codes to your account so that you can receive email notifications when a solicitation relating to the commodity codes saved on your account has been published.
