How do I change my VSS User ID?

Unfortunately, the VSS system does not allow you to update a User ID, however, you can create new User ID and lock out your previous User ID that you no longer wish to use. If your VSS Account Administrator is no longer with the company, you will want to submit a VSS Account Administrator Transfer Request. To update your User ID, you will want to follow the steps below:

    1. Navigate to and log into your VSS account.
    2. Select Users (tab).
    3. Select Add.
    4. Enter all required fields marked with a red * (asterisk).
    5. Select Next.
    6. Select Account Administrator under the Primary Access Level section to be assigned to the user.
    7. Select any Optional Access Levels to be made available to the user.
    8. Select Save.

Once you have created the new user, you will want to make it the Primary Account user. Once you have done that, you will want to sign in under the new User ID created and lock out the old user by following the steps below:

    1. Log into your VSS account using the NEW User ID.
    2. Select Users (tab).
    3. Next to the OLD User ID select view/modify.
    4. Under the User Information section select Locked.
    5. Select Save.
