ColoradoVSS Registration Errors 


Error: You have entered a Taxpayer ID Number and Taxpayer ID Number Type that already exists for another account in the system. Please confirm that this information is correct. If the purpose of this registration is to Add a New Business Location, then please check the 'My new account uses the same Taxpayer ID Number and Taxpayer ID Number Type as another account in the system" checkbox to proceed and enter a New Taxpayer ID Number. 


Error: The Unique Entity Identifier must be 12 digits (A8695) The indicated field must be 12 digits. 


Error: Invalid Web Address. (A2465) Please Enter a valid Web Address


Error: A TIN Type must be selected (A4347) You cannot proceed until a TIN type is selected 


Error: Later Discount Days must be greater than the previous ones (A1852)  Later Discount Days must be greater than the previous ones. For Example, Discount Day 1 must be less than Discount Day 2 and so on. 


Error: Phone is required. You will want to make sure that you’re entering the telephone number without any spaces or dashes. 


Error: Unable to add a new user.  The user ID entered is already taken by another user. Please choose a new User ID to continue 


Error: Incorrect Password entered. Password length cannot be less than 9 characters. Password must contain at least one character in the range 0-9.


The Password Error you are receiving usually means you will need to check the password you have selected. You want to make sure that your password includes the following: 



ColoradoVSS Account Maintenance Errors 


Error: Cannot delete Active record (A9002) The ColoradoVSS system doesn’t allow for addresses to be deleted. 


You will want to end-date the address that is no longer in use for your company. End-dating the address will let the ColoradoVSS system know that the address is no longer a valid address for your company. 


Error: Cannot make changes to fields on which update is pending. 


Before you can change any of your recently updated information, you will have to wait until the pending changes have been approved. Once the changes have been approved, you will receive an email confirmation. After receiving the email confirmation, you can then make additional changes to your VSS account. However, the changes will remain pending until approved by our State Central Approval Department. Approval for pending changes to your VSS account can take 2 to 5 business days. 



ColoradoVSS Solicitation Errors 


 ColoradoVSS can only accommodate attachments up to 20mb in size. You can attach more than one document as long as they do not exceed 20mb each.
