ColoradoVSS Registration Overview
Register
In your browser, navigage to colorado.gov/vss
Click Sign Up on the left-hand side of the ColoradoVSS homepage.
Sign the Memorandum Agreement
Read the terms provided on the ColoradoVss Memorandum of Agreement page.
Select Accept Terms.
Gather Information
Gather all of the items listed on the Registration Tips page and have a copy of your W-9 available.
Click Next
Create Your User Profile
Create your user profile information. Make sure a valid email address is provided.
Email Verification
For new accounts, an email containing a link to the system will be sent to the address you provided when you created your user profile.
Use the link to enter the user information you created to log into the system.
Dual Factor Authentication
To log into your new account, click Send to have the Dual Factor Authentication Access Code sent to your email address. Enter the Access Code from your email and click Verify.
Search For Your Account
Search for your account using Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) or your Last Name/Last 4 digits of your SSN (for individuals
If your account is not located, select New Registration, and skip to the Create User Profile step.
Activate Account
If you were previously registered in ColoradoBIDS, your search should yield results and you will need to activate your account by selecting the Click here to activate your account link.
Add Business Info
Enter your TIN Type and Classification, Business Address and Location, Phone Number and Contact Information.
Submit Registration
Review your entered information and select Submit Registration.
