Password FAQs

It is recommended to reset your VSS password every 90 days.

No, however, if your password has been reset by either your VSS Account Administrator or the VSS Support Center, you will then be prompted to change your password the next time you log in.

VSS does not automatically inform users of changes. The Account Administrator should inform the additional users of the updates. If the Account Administrator changed the user's password, the user will then be prompted to change their password the next time they log in.

You will want to contact the ColoradoVSS Support Center (vsshelp@state.co.us) requesting to have a password reset.  When contacting the ColoradoVSS Support Center you will want to provide the Federal Tax ID that was used during registration along with the Legal Business Name and dba (if applicable) of the company.

Your password must be between 9-16 characters in length and must contain at least one capital letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.  Note:  Your VSS User ID, password and security question answer are case sensitive.
