Process
This guide describes steps on how to submit Online Solicitation Responses. You can do this when the ‘Respond Online’ button for the Solicitation is available.
Note: You must be an active vendor in order for your solicitation response to be accepted.
1. Navigate to www.colorado.gov/vss
2. Log into your VSS Account.
3. Select the Published Solicitations quick link.
4. Search for a Solicitation
Keyword Search (Solicitation Number or Name), Status, Category, and Type
Select Search.
5. Review Solicitation Detail Information
Select the link under the Solicitation Number to view Solicitation details
6. Create a new online Solicitation Response
Click the Respond Online button
7. Select Lines
Select all checkboxes
Click Continue
8. Respond to Lines
For each line enter the following information:
Item: Response Type, Unit Price, Delivery Days, and Comments (optional)
Service: Response Type, Contract Amount, and Comments (optional)
Select Continue
9. Respond to Criteria
Review business types (if necessary)
Respond to Criteria and review loaded criteria (if necessary)
Click Continue
10. Enter Discounts and Comments
Enter Discounts (Optional) and Overall Response Comments (Optional)
Select Continue
11. Add Attachments
Click Add Attachments
Click Browse or Drop
For Browse option
Select and Click file
Click Open
Click Upload
Click Close
12. Complete Review & Submit
Click Submit Response
13. To review your responses from the Home page after submitting your solicitation response, click My Responses to display the Solicitation Responses you have created and/or submitted recently.
Click the My Responses quicklink
You can search responses by status.
If you have successfully submitted your online solicitation responses, you will see Accepted in the Response Status column.
Please note: If your solicitation response status lists Draft, this means that you have not submitted your solicitation response.
If your solicitation response status list is rejected, you will want to resolve the error before resubmitting your response.
