Process
These guidelines assist vendors in adding, deleting, and searching for commodity codes.
Follow these steps to add, delete, or search for commodity codes:
Navigate to Colorado Vendor Self Service
Log into your VSS Account
On the home page, select the Account Maintenance quick link
To add a commodity code:
Select the Commodities tab
Click Add Commodity/Service
Search screen appears
To search for a commodity code that represents goods and services:
Enter Commodity/Service Code, if known. Otherwise use *
Enter part or all of type commodity or service description (* will automatically surround what is typed, i.e., *construction*)
Click Search
Scroll through list and select items to add
Click OK
Screen will show My Commodity List with new additions that indicate Pending Addition Status
To Delete a Commodity Code from your list:
Click the Delete button on right side of My Commodities List
Delete Confirmation box will appear
Click Yes
Screen will show My Commodity List with deleted Commodity Codes that indicate Pending Deletion Status
