Adding new address, business type, and contact info
Process
The processes to add a new billing, postal, and payment address as well as extra locations are in these instructions. The accompanying screenshots serve as visual aids.
Note: If you want to update your address for 1099 address for Tax Reporting requirements or update an address that is no longer valid, you will want to follow the Updating Legal (1099) Address, Business Name and Business Classification
To add a new payment, ordering, or billing address, follow the steps below:
Navigate to www.colorado.gov/vss
Log into your VSS Account
On the home page, select the Account Maintenance quicklink
Select the Addresses & Contacts tab
Click Create Address
On this page, enter the following fields:
Street 1
City
State/Province
ZIP/Postal Code, and
Country
Click Continue to Address Types button
Enter the following fields:
Address Type
Active From, and
Contact Name (choose a new name)
If this is a new Contact, expand the caret and navigate to the Contact Information section to add the email and phone number.
Click Save & Close in upper right of the screen
The new address appears and has a Pending Addition status
