Updating Legal (1099) Address, Name and Business Classification
Process
This job aid describes steps on how to update your legal (1099) address and legal name and change your business classification.

Please click CTRL+P (For print dialogue), make sure the destination is set to PDF, Click Print, Name the document and set location, and Save.
Navigate to Colorado Vendor Self Service
Log into your VSS Account
On the home page, select the Account Maintenance quick link
Updating 1099 Address Information
Select the Account Information tab, click on the 3 dot menu
Click Change TIN and input new information
Click Save & Close
Updating Legal Name
Select the Account Information tab, expand the Legal Information section, and click Edit
Make changes in the Company Name box
Click Save
Updating Business Classification
Select the Account Information tab, expand the Legal Information section, and click Edit
Select the dropdown under Classification and select the appropriate classification for your business
Click Save
There will be a Confirmation box that will appear. Click Submit
View Pending Changes
Once you have updated and/or added new information to your VSS account, it will go into a pending status until it has been approved. You will receive a confirmation email once the changes to your account have been approved.
